****Well, several things actually****

The proceeds from the North Beach Senior Center Thrift Store go to support many programs that help our local communities with food security. From January through October 2025 we have brought in and redistributed close to 2 million pounds of food. Here are just some of the many programs we provide:

• We provide food security support to 17 food banks, feeding centers, schools and tribal communities. Priority given to our Ocean Shores Food Bank.
• We provide meal boxes to local seniors in need.
• We supply food for the Table @ Ocean Shores for their free Tuesday night Dinner at the Lions Club.
• We provide a free Senior Lunch every Thursday at the Lions Club.
• We provide meal boxes during the Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks for the students in the North Beach School District. During the breaks we deliver up to 250 meal boxes a week to students’ homes.
• We provide food boxes to Sea-Mar and Molina case managers for clients in need when requested.
